Description

Shimano brings you the new Stella FK. This spinning reel is the Japanese brand's top-of-the-range model. It's a product that generally features all the latest technologies developed by the Japanese firm.

It comes in a range of sizes. From 1000 to 5000, you'll have the choice of capacity and power to equip rods designed for different techniques and species. From trout to big sea fishing from shore or boat, the Stella FK will respond flawlessly and with formidable efficiency.

To achieve this level of finish and quality, Shimano has initially adopted a number of concepts that have not been equalled to date. These include the Hagane gears, which offer smooth operation and great strength while being very light. This feeling of fluidity will be further enhanced by the micromodule II concept.

In terms of strength, you'll find the Hagane frame. Its construction offers perfect resistance and, above all, non-deformation in the face of long, powerful battles. Finally, for added endurance and to be able to use this reel in a wide range of conditions, the famous X Protect offers near-perfect waterproofing.

But it's the new technologies that really make the difference with this Stella. The Infinity Loop is the first evolution. This technology has been developed to provide a much more organised way of storing your line in your reel. The up and down movement of the reel has been slowed down to a crawl, allowing the braid or nylon to be stored turn by turn. The result is much less friction when casting and improved casting distances.

Dura cross has also been introduced. This technology offers cutting-edge braking quality and a long service life. By using a new fabric and a very special shape, Shimano is extending the original braking quality by a factor of 10.

Finally, there are some more discreet but no less interesting developments. The new Y-shaped AR-C spool profile will offer a little extra for your casting distances. The anti Twist Fin will be the last evolution, and not the least. This small fin near the spool helps maintain tension when retrieving the line, ensuring ideal storage.
