The brand's spinning rod Grandwave Jigging Daiwa comes in 5 models for sea jigging. These are short, easy-to-handle rods that can be fitted with a spinning reel. These Daiwa rods are made from a carbon blank featuring X-45 Full Shield technology.

These rods are ideal for deep fishing with moderate-diameter braid. Each of these rods has a different handle construction at the butt depending on the application.

The Grandwave Jigging is also available in a casting version for use with heavier jigs. The different power ratings offered by Daiwa mean that different jig weights can be used for fishing deeper or shallower. Grandwave GWSJ rods are specially designed for slow jigging.
