Description
The brand's Casting rod Orochi F7-71XT Megabass is a rod built from an X10 series organic fibre blank. This series of blanks incorporates natural materials such as plant fibres (cellulose microfibrils), giving these rods excellent vibration-damping and shock-absorbing performance.
In addition to its vibration- and shock-absorbing properties, this new technology offers greater tensile strength than fibreglass, while being much lighter. The Megabass X10 series rods therefore benefit from a particularly smooth action without compromising on weight.
Finally, the Project X10 engineers were keen to ensure that the manufacture of these blanks and the use of natural materials remained sustainable to help reduce CO2 emissions during the manufacturing process.
Of all the composite materials used by ITO Engineering to date, this is the most durable and functional.
The "Medium Fast" action of the F7-71XT will be ideal for pike and black bass fishing. This rod is designed for fishing with large linear soft lures such as 6" magdrafts and 7" magslows. We also recommend this lure for use with frog imitations in congested areas for both black bass and pike fishing.
