weightheads, for the weight and bite of your soft lures

A jig head has 2 main objectives: to make your lure heavier so that it can fish in a defined depth of water and to arm it so that it can bite the predators that come to attack it.

Its role is simple, but there are a multitude of different head shapes. They all have a particular purpose. The hoof-shaped head, like the Frenzyman from Elitelurekeeps your soft bait upright on the bottom. So your soft bait remains attractive even when resting on the bottom. It can imitate a digging fish, a worm or a crayfish.

Others, with a more rounded shape, are more versatile. They allow the use of multiple techniques. They will be appreciated for line fishing as well as scratch fishing.

The Rubber Jig, the jig head with a twist

Some weightheads are more or less accessorised: coloured paint, shiny eyes and even a silicone skirt. For some, these tricks may seem superfluous, but many anglers have noticed a difference in the number of hits depending on the jig head used.

The Micro Jig or Micro Rubber Jig is a jig head with a skirt made of small silicone strips. The effect of this skirt is to cause numerous small vibrations that are much appreciated by percids such as perch and pike-perch. Black bass are also very fond of it thanks to its imitation of a crayfish or a small creature lying on the bottom.
