Description

The 3549 Swivel Pater Noster Surf swivel from VMC is a rigging accessory for surfcasting fishing: it is ideal for pater-noster rigs, allowing to keep the bait or the lead at a certain height above the bottom while leaving the rest of the line free. This reduces snags while presenting the bait more naturally.

Excellent durability: robust, compatible with salt water. The materials used ensure good durability over time, even with intensive use.
Discretion: compact size to limit visual disturbances (vibrations, parasitic movements), which is an advantage when fish are wary or visibility is reduced.
Smooth rotation: the swivel reduces line twists (twist), which extends the life of the rig and ensures a more natural presentation of the bait.

In surfcasting, it is useful for setting up heavy rigs or with a lead away from the line, while keeping the bait mobile above the bottom. Ideal on the beach, by the sea or on a rocky point. It can be used for medium or heavy baits (crustaceans, large fish), choose size 7×10 (24 kg), for lighter baits, 10×12 or 12×14 will suffice.
