The retrieving sensation is smooth and reassuring thanks to the 6 HPB anti-corrosion stainless steel bearings + 1 needle and the Quick-Set anti-reverse bearing in stainless steel + ratchet system which guarantee consistent fluidity and instant contact with your lure or the fish. The presence of a machined brass pinion contributes to a durable and precise power transmission under load.
On the drag system, the reel includes the Dual Force Drag (DFD) precision brake associated with a micrometric brake with ratchet and a multi-disc system with felt and carbonite washers: the combination offers controlled starts, fine modulation and efficient heat dissipation when the fish solicits the spool.
Resistance to corrosion is enhanced by the Corrosion Resistant Coating (CRC) and anti-corrosion HDGII high density gears, while the frame, side plates and rotor in die-cast rigid aluminium (ALC) provide a rigid and light seating of the mechanism. The patented carbon MSS Mechanical Stabilizing System extends longevity by limiting internal play over time.
The 2-tone machined aluminum spool with LCS lip optimizes casting and the hold of the braid or nylon, and the directly screw-in machined handle ensures better resistance to shocks and repetitive efforts. The very strong aluminium line roller, designed for strong fishing, and the Hydro Block waterproof drag seal protect sensitive elements against seawater.
