The management of the fight relies on the Precision "Dual Force Drag" (DFD) Brake combined with a multi-disc brake that allows very fine adjustments and progressive modulation under tension. Concretely, this translates into a smoothness of the brake during powerful rushes and a damping that preserves your line and your assemblies.

The construction has been thought to last while remaining manageable: the frame 15% lighter thanks to LITECAST™ technology reduces fatigue over long sessions without sacrificing rigidity. Protection against the corrosive environment is ensured by the "Corrosion Resistant Coating" (CRC) and by high density anticorrosion HDGII gears for increased longevity of gear trains.

The internal mechanics favor a smooth and reliable recovery: 6 stainless steel anticorrosion HPB ball bearings + 1 needle bearing guarantee a smooth rotation, the Quick-Set stainless steel anti-reverse bearing offers instant security and the machined brass pinion provides robustness and resistance to repeated efforts. The 2-tone machined aluminum spool combines lightness and solidity while the directly screw-in machined crank ensures a solid and play-free connection.

On the large sizes, the design integrates practical features: Double anti-reverse system on sizes 8000 and 14000 and Manual folding pick-up on sizes 8000 and 14000, designed for configurations requiring power and safety.
