The FLASHKAST Sakura is the ideal partner for sea fishing from the shore when you need to reach far and present a plausible prey to active fish. From the beach, rocks, port docks or a seawall, this swim fish minnow has been designed to retain its range even when the wind comes into play.
Its major asset rests on a magnetic mass transfer system that helps to stabilize the cast and gain distance. In the field, this translates into cleaner set up on remote stations, with fewer constraints related to windy conditions. For the angler, it's the possibility to cover more water and insist where the biggest specimens often lurk out of reach.
Once in the water, FLASHKAST delivers a behavior that speaks to wary fish as well as hunters. The lure is described as thin and large-sized, with a visual and vibratory impact designed to trigger the attack of the largest subjects attracted by significant prey. When animated, it goes completely crazy under the jerks, drawing lateral deviations and stunning reversals. In linear recovery, it maintains a broad wriggling and an ideal amplitude rolling, even at very slow speeds, to remain attractive even when it's necessary to slow down the pace.
Its oblique "head down" position when it sinks slowly allows it to get into action quickly as soon as the first turns of the crank are made. This is a real advantage when the fish require an immediate presentation, without any down time. On exposed sectors, hunting areas or deep edges accessible from the shore, it makes perfect sense in fishing for bass, barracuda, bluefish or amberjack.
