The Tenryu Namija 1080H is aimed at the fisherman who must go to find fish far from the shore, in conditions where every meter of line counts. Designed for the fishing of bass from the shore, it makes perfect sense when it comes to presenting a soft lure with precision and control, even in deep areas subject to strong currents.
The Namija 1080MH is the longest rod in the Namija range. This 3m25 model was developed for fishing bass from the shore with soft lures up to 60 g in deep areas with strong currents where it is necessary to make long-distance casts to let the lure swim naturally during long drifts. This approach, similar to toc fishing, requires a rod capable of transmitting the slightest information and maintaining a clean presentation despite the distance: this is exactly what this Tenryu offers.
Its very fast action provides a clear response to striking and excellent lure control, while its incredible sensitivity makes it easier to feel discreet touches, current contacts and rig work. The reversed titanium starting ring contributes to the search for casting distance while promoting smoother line flow, in a set that is primarily focused on precision and control.
Despite its length and its significant power necessary to tame large fish in difficult conditions, this rod remains particularly light and pleasant to use. On ports, dikes or sectors exposed to currents, it offers real ease of casting and appreciable comfort when it is necessary to multiply the drifts and keep a lot of concentration on the line. For bass from the shore, but also for fishing with hard lures and metallic lures, the Namija 1080H provides a versatile and efficient response.
