The Explorer Tackle Alu Prestige fighting belt is designed for anglers looking for reliable support when the fight intensifies. Made for heavy-duty fishing, it offers extra comfort and control when the pressure mounts out at sea.
Its raw aluminium frame with black anodised finish provides excellent corrosion resistance and outstanding strength. The rigid frame ensures excellent support during the fight, giving you a firm, stable hold when you need to put your back into it without losing your footing.
Ergonomics have been carefully considered for lasting comfort. The dense, rot-proof internal foam padding spreads tension over a wide area. As a result, pressure does not restrict circulation, and comfort is maintained even during demanding fights. The multi-position belt fastens in seconds with Velcro, while the back straps and extra-wide contact area help distribute the load more evenly across the hips and lower back, reducing fatigue.
The articulated gimbal keeps the rod perfectly aligned vertically. This stability prevents the rod from moving sideways and allows for smoother pumping, with no wasted effort. You gain efficiency, endurance and the ability to apply more pressure when the fish refuses to give in.
In practice, this fighting belt is ideal for heavy-duty fishing in France and further afield: popper fishing, trolling, bait fishing, trolling fishing with heavy tackle, casting for tuna or chumming for tuna. It is particularly well suited to light stand-up setups, when you need to fight powerful fish for a long time with maximum support and comfort.
