The Daiwa BG Off Shore 27 spinning rod accompanies the most committed outings from a boat, when you need to send compact lures on the hunts and keep control in combat. Designed for casting fishing for pelagic fish in the high seas, it targets fishermen looking for a serious, precise and reassuring rod for fast fish.

Its HVF carbon blank provides a nervy and responsive base, ideal for effectively propelling lures and feeling clear hits when the hunt triggers. The Fuji K rings with O ring contribute to a regular glide of the line, while still suited to the constraints of offshore fishing. The Fuji DPS reel seat combined with the Fuji locking nut perfectly secures the reel hold, a real plus when battles intensify and the gear must remain perfectly locked. The EVA handle offers a comfortable grip, even during long sessions at sea, while the Fuji BRC butt cap completes a reliable and well-finished set.

The BG80MAF stands out as the lightest in the series, particularly comfortable with smaller blue fish such as bonito, Atlantic bonito, little tunny, large mackerel and bluefish. The BG78MHAF, with its power range of 30-90 g, is perfect for light exo fishing, but also for little tunny and leerfish. The longer BG83MHAF helps reach the furthest hunts. The BG77XHAF provides more backup for large little tunnies and small tunas, while the two-piece BG79HAF facilitates transport without sacrificing power with its range of 60-120 g. Finally, the BG85XHAF dominates the series with its power and length, to cast far and better control the fish in combat.

In the field, this series makes perfect sense as soon as you need to fish from the edge of a boat for active pelagic fish, targeting hunts and fast species in the high seas. Its behaviour is particularly relevant for sessions where casting distance, power reserve and rig safety make the difference.
