Illex Spinning Rod Illex Element Rider X5 S 225 M Stalking Special

The spinning rod Illex Element Rider X5 S 225 M Stalking Special has been designed for anglers who want to fish modern techniques with stealth, precision and control. At 225 cm long, it is comfortable to use both from the bank and from a boat, while offering a technical yet enjoyable feel when every cast counts.

Its high-modulus X5 blank with multi-directional fibres delivers a noticeable improvement in lightness, sensitivity and power reserve. On the water, this means a clearer feel for what is happening at the end of the line, more feedback through the rod and the ability to work lures delicately without losing control. This design clearly prioritises control and precision, two essential assets for stealthy, technical approaches.

The perfectly balanced action further enhances this sense of precision. The rod responds quickly but smoothly, helping you keep your rig tidy and impart a natural action to surface lures, minnows, jerkbaits and finesse soft baits. Precision is at the heart of this design: clean casting, fine control and clear feedback with every movement.

The FUJI K guides help the line run smoothly and transmit feedback effectively. Combined with the ergonomic, open-frame TVST reel seat, they provide a secure grip and improve comfort during long sessions. The open-frame reel seat gives the rod a modern, technical feel and makes it comfortable to use. It also comes with a screen-printed sleeve and a rigid Cordura tube for secure transport.

This rod will feel right at home on the bank when fishing stealthily, presenting a lure delicately and maintaining control in areas where precision makes all the difference. It is particularly well suited to anglers looking for a versatile, responsive and technical spinning rod for precise, methodical approaches.
