The Palms Shore Gun Evolv 86M is a versatile egi spinning rod, designed primarily for size 3.5 squid jigs. Its M power rating lets you work them precisely. This is a widely used size for egi fishing for squid and cuttlefish. It also handles jigs up to size 4, commonly used in spring, making it suitable for much of the season.
Size 3.5 is one of the most commonly used sizes for egi fishing, and the rod was designed with this size in mind. It lets you cast the squid jig, impart precise movements and work it with control. Its compatible jig range spans sizes 2.5 to 4, so you can switch between egi sizes to suit the conditions without changing rod.
