Baum

In the demanding world of sport fishing, BAUM stands out for its fundamentally different approach. At BAUM, a lure is not just a simple piece of plastic or wood designed to deceive a fish: it's a true extension of nature. The brand's philosophy is based on a single obsession: to replicate living creatures in their smallest details in order to capture the very essence of the prey.

Behind this quest for perfection is Takayuki Koike, a professional Japanese fisherman. Originally from Otsu, on the shores of the iconic Lake Biwa (Shiga Prefecture) - a veritable open-air laboratory for Black Bass fishing - Koike-san has honed his skills by the water. Decades of careful observation of aquatic behaviors have drove him to create lures with an unprecedented movement dynamic, capable of speaking the fish's "silent language".

The strength of BAUM lies in this perfect balance between the rigor of modern engineering and the attention to detail of Japanese craftsmanship.
Each prototype is the result of meticulous development:

  • Precise sculpture: Shapes are studied not only for their aesthetics, but above all for their hydrodynamics.
  • Choice of materials: Selected for their reactivity, density and durability, to guarantee perfect swimming.
  • Testing in real conditions: No BAUM lure is validated without having proven its effectiveness in the field, in front of educated fish.

For BAUM, realism goes far beyond simple scalloped paint. It is expressed in the fluidity of the trajectory, the action on the descent and the vibration of the water. BAUM lures excel in the art of provoking the attack without ever betraying their artificial nature. In waters where fish have seen everything, the subtlety and silence of their animations become fearsome weapons.

More than a brand, BAUM is the promise of demanding, technical, and respectful fishing. It is the assurance of using a product designed by a Japanese master, designed to deceive the most wary predators thanks to a perfect imitation.
