In 1951, GOSEN launched the first fishing line made from synthetic fibres on the Japanese market! The holder of around a hundred patents, this major global manufacturer is active in a variety of fields, including the automotive industry (safety belts) and tennis (racket strings), where GOSEN has been involved in tests with Jimmy Connors, Jim Courier, the Spaniard Martinez and Anna Kornikova. In 2005, GOSEN became the first company in the world to work on nanotechnology for the development of certain industrial fibres.
