The SpeedMaster II is a trolling fishing reel from the brand Shimano. This reel has been designed to offer good retrieval speed. Indeed, the SpeedMaster II benefits from a 6.2:1 ratio that allows you to retrieve 97cm of line per crank turn. This powerful reel is built to offer top-of-the-range performance and reliability, in a compact and light frame. Moreover, it offers even more power when you switch it to slow speed. Thus, you will be able to fight the biggest fish.
This boat fishing reel is a versatile speed multiplier, ideal for covering many sea fishing techniques. The SpeedMaster II is a compact reel with the additional advantage of being at a medium price.
You can use it for bottom fishing in the deepest oceans, jigging in shallow waters or for trolling tuna, the SpeedMaster II has speed and power to spare when you need it.
The SpeedMaster II reel benefits from a rigid Hagane aluminum body of the SpeedMaster II remarkably compact for easy handling, especially in small sizes, and prevents any misalignment of the internal moving parts. It is also equipped with Shimano's high-performance E.I. surface treatment to protect it against corrosion. Inside, the SpeedMaster has 4 S A-RB shielded bearings, which resist corrosion and ensure a good fluidity, even at the highest speeds or under extreme pressure.
The powerful brake is operated by the lever, easy to use, it engages securely. As a bonus, a replacement brake lever, which produces a less aggressive brake curve for optimal use with monofilaments when fishing pelagic species, is also included.
