The blank is made from a blend of 30T and 40T carbon for ultimate strength without compromising sensitivity or action.
This surfcasting rod is responsive. The blank also features Carbon X-wrap technology, which makes it even more powerful and reduces torsion when casting. This reduction in twist allows for greater casting accuracy and extreme casting distances.
The sensitive, solid tip of this rod Penn will ensure you don't miss a single bite, even the finest, most unobtrusive ones. The Tidal XR Solid Carbon Tip K is finished with Fuji Alconite K-Type saltwater-resistant rings and a special X-Shrink Casting handle. So you get a great finish for an affordable product.
