Lucky John

Like many brands in the fishing world, Lucky John was created by a group of passionate anglers. Initially run as a hobby, Lucky John gradually grew into a full-fledged business.

In 1988, Mr Janis Stikuts, a multiple champion in various fishing techniques in Latvia and the Baltic States, was determined to offer high-quality lures to all anglers. The small Lucky John lure factory was born.

At first, the product range was relatively small. It had some references for fishing for several species: pike, perch, trout, etc. There was no guarantee that the products would reach the market, but that's how the story of Lucky John began.

Soft lures Lucky John for pike fishing

The origins of the brand Lucky John have led the brand to design lures for pike fishing. Indeed, its integration into the Salmo group in 1988 had a strong influence on the brand's creations. However, Lucky John has managed to keep its distinctive brand and stand out from the crowd of pike anglers.

Kubira lures are now widely used by anglers in France and across Europe. The Kubira is available as a shad or a grub in 7 colours for fishing the more or less chewy, clear waters of the different countries where pike are found.

Depending on the spots you like to fish and the season, you'll also find these soft lures in several sizes. What's more, Lucky John lures have a special Scent & Taste Inside formula. 65% of this attractant is impregnated into the lure while 35% remains on the surface to guarantee the taste and smell for as long as possible.

Mounting accessories for pike fishing

Lucky John soft lures are a real success. To complete the range and provide optimum armament for every soft bait lure, Lucky John has developed a range of accessory Big Bait customised, extremely durable mounts to protect anglers around the world from the frustration of breakage caused by poor quality equipment.

The frames are available in a range of sizes and are constructed from splits rings and barrel swivels to ensure resistance to teeth and extreme traction. As well as shallow rigs, the brand also offers jigheads and hooks designed for fishing larger specimens. Lucky John is not a brand that does things by halves, it's a brand that is committed to providing the best to anglers everywhere.
