This mid-range rod is built around a high-quality carbon blank, with a fast action and an extra fast tip action that offer a lively, precise, and tight casting start. In hand, you can feel a power reserve that can increase top speed when you need to cast further, while still retaining a good sensitivity for detecting subtle bites, especially with a light line. The combination of high-module full carbon and Diaflash construction in the lower part of the blank boosts propulsion and stability when casting, a real advantage when pushing the leads to the upper limit of the casting weight or when the wind picks up.
Equipped with Fuji Fazlite rings made of type K stainless steel, the Speedmaster EX Surf Telescopic provides a good resistance to corrosion, appreciable lightness and reduced friction that promotes distance. The Fazlite coating is also compatible with braid, for smoother casting and better reliability by the water's edge. The Fuji DPS reel seat has been designed to accommodate large surfcasting reels and is positioned to maximize leverage with the lower hand during casting.
