Description

Facing the demanding conditions of cold saltwater fishing, the Westin W4 C-SW spinning reel has been designed for battles in coastal and littoral waters. It offers the power and reliability necessary to stand up to the most combative species, from jigging on agitated bottoms to casting along rugged coasts.

The K-Alloy rigid body minimizes bending under load, ensuring smooth gear operation even under high tension. This rigidity translates directly into better durability in corrosive environments typical of the seaside.

The 5+1 stainless steel sealed bearing system ensures always smooth recoveries while offering protection against seawater. In total, 14 seals and an IPX5 protection rating lock the reel against splashes and salt moisture.

The instant anti-reverse, waterproof and made of a single piece of stainless steel, engages without delay for sure hooksets on each touch. The sealed Carbon Matrix brake then offers smooth and reliable pressure over its entire range of adjustment, well suited to both power and finesse, for performance that lasts even in difficult conditions.

The double-anodized forged aluminum spool, braid-compatible, offers maximum resistance to corrosion. Combined with a CNC machined aluminum handle and a comfortable TPE button, it guarantees solid power transfer and a sure grip, even in wet conditions.

The W4 C-SW comes in three sizes to suit coastal water techniques: the body and rotor are aluminum on the 5000 model, while the 3000 and 4000 combine a an aluminum body with a graphite rotor, which is lighter, for finer fishing. All sizes receive a CNC machined hard brass main gear and an automatic tripping bail, for use without excess adjustment on the waterfront.
