The spinning reel Daiwa BG LT 27 is aimed at anglers seeking responsiveness, endurance and always controlled recovery when the battle lengthens. This last generation of BG brings together an LT series and an SW series, with a clear priority given to power and endurance on this version designed for demanding fishing.
The POWERDRIVE DESIGN technology brings a real feeling of solidity to the recovery: the design of the rotor and the basket handle keeps the recovery power transmitted by the gear set, for a frank and regular crank return. The aluminium frame and the side flange of the same material contribute to the maintenance of the control wheel in the reel structure, with a reassuring impression of rigidity as tension mounts.
The ATD-TOUGH brake equipped with carbon discs is clearly designed to withstand long rushes while maintaining power and progressiveness. At the water's edge, this translates into more serene control of the fish, without unnecessary jerks, even when the fight lasts. The aluminium crank, directly screwed onto the control wheel, and its oversized oval knob provide a solid and comfortable grip, ideal for maintaining authority in recovery.
With its 1 + 5 bearings, its aluminium spool and its cross-wrapped winding, this BG SW is designed for strong fishing that requires continuity of effort. The P ratio is particularly suited to vertical boat fishing, while the H ratio comes into its own for surface fishing and moments when speed comes into play, particularly for surface lures and hunting.
In everyday use, this reel naturally finds its place when it comes to pushing a rig, controlling a powerful fish and maintaining a constant recovery, with the confidence of a set designed to last.
