Evergreen Casting Rod Evergreen Artisan Mountain Stream 4"10

Designed for precision fishing in rivers, the Evergreen Artisan Mountain Stream 4"10 delivers the crisp, responsive feel you want when every cast counts. This rod trout casting rod combines a compact take-back with a lively action to place the lure accurately, even in tight spots.

Its blank combines 24-tonne carbon with fibreglass to create a progressive curve that loads instantly with the lure’s weight, even on short casts such as a flip cast. In the mid-section and butt, 33-tonne carbon, Toyou Treika® T1100G fibres treated with Nano Alloy® technology, and then 40-tonne carbon give the blank a slim, slender profile and a highly responsive action. The result is a lightweight, precise rod with a lively action that retains plenty of power under heavy load to help you play the fish and reduce hook pulls.

The unpainted and unsanded finish across the entire blank, except around the logo, helps unlock the blank’s full potential. The SiC guides also play a key role: at the tip, the PLGST5 and PKTSG 4,5 ×4 stainless-steel frames help the tip flex on the cast, allowing you to cast even lightly weighted lures cleanly; in the mid-section and butt, the T-KBSG 5, 5,5 and T-LRVSG 7, 10 titanium frames keep the overall setup lightweight. The absence of a foregrip allows greater freedom of movement, while the 23 mm karin reel seat, lightweight cork rear grip and karin wood butt cap provide a very natural feel in the hand by the water.

On fast-flowing streams, small mountain rivers and overgrown stretches, this rod comes into its own when targeting large trout with precision, control and speed. Its 3-piece construction also makes it easier to move through steep terrain or dense vegetation, without compromising the feel of a true premium rod.
