Daiwa Casting Rod Daiwa Saltist II Slow Jigging

The Saltist VJ casting rod is designed for slow jigging, a technique based on slow vertical movements. This 1m88 rod is specially designed for use with a spinning reel. Slow jigging consists of slowly moving the jig vertically over the boat by varying the animation sequences. The action is supple on the tip, intermediate with some nerve on the2nd third and the heel has a high reserve of power to get the better of the predators you're after. A technique that originated in the Pacific but is now proving extremely useful in Mediterranean waters as well as in the Atlantic, English Channel and North Sea in the search for gadids and sea bass.
