Description
This reel from Daiwa is clearly designed for searching for predators at sea. It is part of the new MQ family. It has a monocoque frame that gives it greater strength than the rest of the range. It is therefore classified as a reel designed for strong fishing.
The Saltist is positioned more or less in the middle of the Daiwa range. It benefits from the latest technology, bringing it up to the level of much more high-end models. You'll be able to take advantage of the brand's special Magsealed bearings, which provide a watertight seal against anything external.
But the qualities don't stop there. You can count on ultra-strong, oversized gears to deliver plenty of power with every turn of the crank. You can also count on the t'aider brake with its carbon discs or the tubular pick-up arm that offers even sharper line winding on the spool.
The different sizes on offer will allow you to choose according to your fishing technique. The 3000 and 4000 are designed for relatively light lure fishing, while the 5000 and 6000 are ideal for heavier fishing.
