The squid jig Egi Oh Search from Yamashita is now available in a new size 3.5. Specially designed for prospecting active cephalopods, such as squids and cuttlefish, it is a noise-making model equipped with a rattle, carefully calibrated to emit a vibration close to 600 Hz, the ideal frequency to attract the attention of these species.

What distinguishes this squid jig is also the presence of flat sides that give it an accentuated rolling, as well as a small dorsal protrusion, called Strobe Fin, which emits flashing light flashes during animations.

It has a fast sinking speed, allowing it to be visible and audible at a long distance in the water column. In addition, like all other turluttes in the range, this one is equipped with two phosphorescent eyes emitting at a wavelength of 490 nm, corresponding to the optimal light spectrum for cephalopods.

The series also benefits from Neon Bright technology, which offers body colors in UV blue, green or red, to maximize wavelength variations in the water. By adapting the color of the squid jig to that of the water, the reflection is more visible, which stimulates the predatory instinct of cephalopods. UV blue is ideal for summer and winter, UV green for spring and autumn, and UV red for early morning and late day fishing.

Size 3.5 is ideal for targeting the largest specimens of squids and cuttlefish, especially in deep areas, while maintaining excellent horizontal stability in the current, making the squid jig more easily spotted by these predators.
