The range of Phoxy Minnow HW lures is well fleshed out today. Its design targets performance in current: a strongly laterally compressed silhouette, an angled bib, and a high-density provide superior stability in water veins where the current speed is very fast. In practical terms, this means that, even when casting downstream, the lure will not be ejected from the areas to be prospected and remains engaged in the layer of water where active fish often hold.
Offering little resistance to air and water, the Phoxy Minnow casts accurately and adopts a lively behavior at the slightest action: in its linear motion, its lowered center of gravity produces a successful combination of rolling and wobbling, making it particularly attractive to wary fish. The 62 mm version integrates a significant technical device: magnetic-type internal mass transfer system. When the cast is triggered, the lead cylinder disengages from the magnet and gives an incredible boost that allows the lure to be propelled a great distance with a highly precise trajectory. As soon as the lure touches the water, the magnet recalls the weighting system and keeps it fixed at its balance point, ensuring excellent behavior during retrieval.
The shorter models retain suitable simplicity: the 40 and 50 mm models are equipped with a fixed lead insert, perfect for small sizes and delicate stream animations. Silent, the lure remains discreet and sticks to the natural prey size, ideal for stream or medium river.
