Garbolino Toc Reel Garbolino Catalyst Toc 65

The Garbolino Catalyst Toc 65 reel is designed for anglers looking for a simple, precise and enjoyable set-up for toc fishing for trout. Made for sessions where controlling the drift makes all the difference, it offers a well-balanced design for a subtle, discreet and effective approach on the water.

Its injection-moulded aluminium frame provides a sturdy, reassuring base, ideal for handling the demands of technical fishing without compromising on ease of use. The graphite spool adds a practical benefit: it helps deliver a smooth, controlled feel while maintaining a design focused on performance on the water.

With its single ball bearing, this reel focuses on the essentials to provide a smooth, consistent rotation. The 2:1 gear ratio is perfectly suited to a controlled approach, with a retrieve tailored to the demands of toc fishing. This technical choice enhances the sense of control when working the bait and retrieving.

Its reversible right- or left-hand retrieve is a real everyday advantage: each angler can set the reel up for their dominant hand, ensuring a natural, comfortable motion. Over the course of a full day, this versatility makes a difference, especially when accurate presentation and consistent contact with the bait matter as much as a comfortable grip.

On rivers and in trout fishing spots, it is ideally suited to touch-sensitive fishing in currents where you need to stay alert to every bite. This reel is particularly well suited to anglers who want a simple, reliable tool designed for a specific style of fishing, with no unnecessary frills. Its focus on toc fishing for trout makes it a great choice for technical anglers who prioritise feel and delicate bait presentation.
