Characteristics of rockfishing rods

Rockfishing is a fishing technique that involves searching for small rock fish in salt water. For this purpose, Daiwa has developed 3 series of rods adapted to this technique.

Featuring EVA handles and salt-resistant guides, they have been designed to withstand the elements and last the test of time.

These rods are Light or Ultra Light so you can use small lures to target small fish. From 1.90 m to 2.40 m, you'll find models to suit your different approaches.

How do I choose?

To choose your model, you'll find 3 series specially developed for rockfishing:

  • Rockfishing series
  • The Infeet Rockfishing series
  • The Rockfishing series

For this technique, Daiwa has thought about small budgets with the Legalis series from €59, which still delivers what it promises.

The more experienced also have their own series. The more sophisticated Infeet series is made from high modulus carbon, while the Crosscast series offers hollow or solid tips to suit the different techniques you'll be using.
