Catfish are freshwater fish renowned for their particularly imposing size and weight. The largest specimens can easily weigh more than 100 kg, making it all the more important touse a rod set and reel.
The catfish kit consists of a rod with a length of at least 2m10 and a power rating of between 40 and 150g, enabling you to pull in a catch weighing several dozen kilos. It also includes a robust reel made from hard-wearing materials such as aluminium or carbon. Other accessories such as lures and braid can also be incorporated.
