The Casting rod Freestyle Pro complements the Freestyle Pro range from Black Cat with a model specifically designed for lure fishing for catfish. It offers an ideal balance between power, sensitivity and comfort, essential for confronting the largest freshwater predators.

With a length of 2m20, this Casting rod allows precise and controlled casts, even with bulky and heavy lures. Its maximum casting power of 180 g makes it perfectly suited for the use of swimbaits, big baits, XXL shads or surface lures intended for searching for the most combative catfish.

Its progressive action is a major asset: it effectively absorbs violent head-shakes from the catfish while maintaining excellent reserve power in the blank. This action ensures controlled battles, limits unhooking and improves the quality of setting.

The blank is made from a 24TON + 30TON high modulus carbon, offering both robustness and reactivity. This combination ensures optimal transmission of vibrations, allowing to perfectly feel the lure's animation and the slightest touch.

Designed in a 1+1 model, the rod can be easily disassembled for transport while maintaining excellent continuity of action. It is equipped with a reel seat and Fuji / Seaguide rings, known for their reliability, durability and perfect management of strong braids used for catfish.
