The ideal partner for fishing for trout with nymphs and natural baits, the Garbolino Espada An has been designed to provide a comfortable hand feel and behaviour in action suited to the demands of big fishers.
The HR/IM carbon blank delivers a combination of sensitivity and spring. This material, cited as such, gives the angler a fine feedback on the touches while maintaining a structure capable of absorbing effort. The fast parabolic action with power reserve in the butt results in a progressive curve on the hook and a useful energy reserve for controlling the fish at the end of the line: clean hooking, absorption of head shakes and safe management of rushes thanks to the power concentrated in the butt.
The natural cork handle provides comfort and sensitivity. The natural cork insulates from parasitic vibrations while returning those that matter, to better feel the nymph or bait at the end of the line and precisely measure your movements.
The rod comes in two distinct reel seat layouts according to use: the natural bait version features a exclusive adjustable tubular GARBOLINO reel seat for precise adjustment and appropriate positioning, while the nymph version favours a fixed reel seat at the bottom of the butt for optimized balance and a traditional grip offering stability and compactness.
This design aims to be simple and effective: contact sensations, available power and ergonomics combine to make the Espada An a reliable ally during trout fishing outings with nymphs or natural baits.
