The THE ARTIST B 250 XH NOTORIOUS PIKE is a rod casting Illex designed for powerful casting and wide animations. Its total length of 2m50 offers a comfortable leverage to expand your animations and reach distant spots where specimens are. Designed at the request of the Illex team members, it meets a demanding specification for pike fishing.

The choice of the X5 blank is not insignificant: its resonance and power will enhance both efficiency and pleasure in impact restoration and control during the fight. The blank adopts a pre-impregnated sheet process involving carbon fiber orientation at three angles, providing a combination of sensitivity, power reserve, and handling during heavy casting.

The rod is mounted with the FUJI TORZITE TITANIUM KW ring series. These rings, thinner and lighter, enhance the transmission of information to the blank, optimize casting distances and the lifespan of your line, and eliminate any risk of your line tangling in the rings during casting, regardless of the conditions encountered.

The grip is well thought out: an EVA handle positioned above the ACS reel holder facilitates animation in certain scenarios and ensures a good grip during fights. The rod easily accepts lure casting up to 150g, ideal for intensive use of Big Bait, Swimbait, Glide Bait or XL soft lures such as Soft Swimbait, DEXTER SHAD, DEXTER EEL or SUCKER PUNCH.

Designed for tracking trophy pike in our waters, it is also recommended for dream destinations in search of pike such as Spain, Ireland, Sweden, Quebec, Netherlands. Supplied with a screen-printed cover and a rigid protective tube in cordura, it is ready for travel and intensive sessions.
