Thanks to its length of 2m90, the NXT BTSD Casting offers optimal leverage that allows heavy lures to be thrown at impressive distances, with a minimal effort. Its Toray blank with regular action and progressive taper ensures perfect energy return when casting, while retaining excellent power reserve to confront the largest fish.

The length of this rod is not limited to casting distance: it also plays a crucial role in hook quality with large diameter hooks, and ensures total control of powerful fish during combat. When predators follow the lure close to the boat, the additional length allows to extend the trajectory along the boat, significantly increasing the time spent in the attack zone.

The widened radius of the rod also optimizes the execution of figure 8 maneuvers, making them smoother, wider, and more efficient, while keeping the lure at a strategic distance from the boat — a precious asset when triggering the final attack.

The NXT BTSD Casting features high-end Fuji Alconite rings with Gunsmoke frames, ensuring a smooth line payout and low friction.
