Description

Specifically designed for catfish fishing, the Black Cat Shadow Cat reel is a robust spinning designed to withstand the most violent fights. Its detailed construction makes it a reliable ally against the largest catfish in Europe.

The frame and rotor in graphite offer lightness and rigidity, while the main stainless steel shaft guarantees unrivaled resilience, even during the most intense tractions. The aluminum spool and CNC machined aluminum handle complete this solid architecture, a guarantee of reliability over time against wear and repeated rubbing of a strong line.

The brake, which combines stainless steel and carbon discs, develops a power of up to 22 kg on the 10000 model. This is enough to put constant and progressive pressure on the fish during releases, without fearing a break when the catfish goes back to the bottom.

The high power ergonomic handle has been designed to remain effective even after several tens of minutes of combat, when fatigue sets in and every move must remain precise to keep control of the fish.

The Shadow Cat comes in three sizes to suit the different approaches to catfish fishing: the 6500, more compact, for techniques requiring a responsive reel; the 8000, versatile intermediate size; and the 10000, with its capacity of 500m in 0.50mm and its reinforced brake at 22 kg, for strong lines and the most demanding sessions.
