Orvis Rod to Orvis Helios 3D Fly

In the famous Helios family, the "D" stands for Distance. The rod à mouche Orvis Helios 3D was developed with a clear aim: to offer fly fishermen a phenomenal casting power without ever sacrificing control. Whether you're battling a headwind along the coast or trying to reach the opposite shore of a large river, or launching a big streamer, this rod with very fast progressive action will be there for you.

The Helios 3D asserts its visual identity with its famous white wrap above the grip, elegantly contrasting with black and blue markings. The rest of the blank features a matte black coating treated with anti-UV to ensure total discretion against wary fish.

On the ergonomic side, you will find a cork handle of very high quality offering a firm and comfortable grip when pressed for double traction. The reel seat is not to be outdone, machined from a Type III anodized aluminum (military standard) "night black", complemented by a superb matte carbon insert "Storm" made in the USA.

Orvis has equipped this flagship with RECOIL serpentine rings. These shape-memory, non-deformable rings instantly return to their original position in case of shock, greatly extending the life of your gear during engaged sessions.
