JMC JMC Discovery Lake Fly Set

The JMC Discovery Lake perfectly accompanies fishermen who want to discover fly fishing with a kit rod and reel that's well-matched, modern and designed for serene progression. This new generation of JMC Fly fishing combos was designed to provide real sensations from the first outings, with quality equipment that inspires confidence by the water.

Each Discovery set is based on a rod of medium Fast action, a particularly interesting choice for achieving good reactivity while maintaining tolerance during casting phases. The balance provided by the large arbor aluminium reel contributes to a pleasant grip and comfortable recovery. The filling with backing, combined with a floating line and a suitable line bottom, allows to have a setup ready to fish, without approximation, for a clean glide and a controlled presentation.

The Discovery range covers the main fresh water approaches, from dry fishing to predator-oriented uses. In the field, this type of kit naturally finds its place on rivers, lakes and routes where you're looking for simple equipment to handle, capable of supporting learning as well as technical progress. It is a relevant choice for practicing your first casts, gaining confidence in animation and constructing more precise movements over outings.

With its complete architecture, the JMC Discovery Lake set offers a clear solution to enter the fly fishing universe with well-thought-out, balanced and immediately usable gear. We particularly appreciate the logic of the kit, which enables you to go to the water's edge with a ready-to-use set and a real consistency between the rod, the reel, the line and the line bottom.
