Description
The Orvis Encounter Fly Outfit puts together everything you need to get into fly fishing with a cohesive set, ready to accompany each outing with fluidity and simplicity. Designed as a comprehensive kit, it combines a rod Encounter with semi-fast action with a large arbor Encounter reel, already fitted with floating WF line, backing and a leader. In hand, the set inspires confidence straight away: the semi-fast action makes casting easier, while retaining enough reserve to place the line with precision and control.
The choice of large arbor reel brings real comfort at the water's edge. This architecture promotes a regular and practical recovery, while the presence of the floating WF line simplifies handling and implementation. The backing and leader already installed save time and limit handling before fishing. This is a set that makes you want to get out, quickly get to the water's edge and focus on the essentials: drifting, presentation and the joy of hooking.
The complete format of this Encounter Outfit is particularly pleasant for anglers who want functional, reliable and immediately useable equipment. The cordura case delivered with the set reinforces the practical side: transport and storage are facilitated, and the equipment remains protected between two sessions. This is a real asset to keep the set ready to go, without fearing the hazards of storage or transportation.
In the field, this set naturally finds its place for freshwater fly fishing, as long as you are looking for balanced and easy-to-use equipment. The combination of the rod Encounter, the floating WF line and the large arbor Encounter reel offers a reassuring base to work on clean and comfortable presentations, with this very appreciable feeling of a set ready to fish as soon as you open the case.
