Description

The Orvis Dacron backing is the discreet, but essential, element for taking care of your set-up when fly fishing. When you're looking for a reliable connection between the line and the reel, this type of backing makes all the difference when the fish pulls out line and puts the whole setup under tension.

Made of Dacron, this backing bets on a material known for its robustness and finesse. Its thin profile allows for increased compactness on the spool, while maintaining a useful line reserve to support your fights. Result: a cleaner, more regular, and more comfortable set-up to use, with a feeling of control from start to finish.

This backing is designed to withstand demands without complicating your life. In a fly configuration, every detail counts, and a well-chosen backing provides that extra security that reassures when the fish has taken the entire length of the line.

This Orvis Dacron backing obviously suits fishermen who want to equip their set with a sober, functional, and coherent product for fly fishing. It finds its place in a set-up where reliability, simplicity, and a clean integration to the reel are primarily sought. In action, it accompanies your sessions discreetly, without diverting attention from the essentials: the fluidity of the material and the precision of the gesture.
