Description

The spinning reel Shimano Sedona FI is designed to deliver a smooth, reassuring feel from the very first cast. Offering excellent value for money, it puts the reliability of Shimano engineering and a robust design within reach, ready for regular outings and repeated battles with big fish alike.

Its main feature is HAGANE Gear, a technology that delivers greater smoothness, power and durability. In use, the retrieve stays comfortable and consistent, even when a fish is putting up a strong fight. You immediately get that feeling of control that makes all the difference when bites keep coming and your tackle needs to perform consistently over time.

The G Free Body improves balance in the hand and reduces fatigue, making the Sedona particularly comfortable, especially for beginners or anyone spending long hours by the water. The aluminium handle adds to its solid feel while keeping the reel lightweight, making it easy to handle and enjoyable to fish with.

The Sedona range covers a wide variety of uses, from light freshwater fishing to targeting larger saltwater fish, thanks to increased drag power and higher gear ratios. The 8000 model stands out with Shimano's Cross Carbon drag, designed to handle greater pressure and better manage more powerful fish. For casting, the Varispeed II system ensures even line lay and reduces the risk of the line catching on the spool, while the AR-C aluminium spool helps reduce casting friction and maximise distance.

On the water, this reel is a natural choice for spinning in both freshwater and saltwater when you want an accessible yet dependable tool that can handle a variety of sessions without letting you down. It is particularly well suited to anglers looking for a reliable reel to help them improve, fish in greater comfort and enjoy proven mechanics for the long term.
