Illex offers the The Artist X5 S 2152 MH Black Shadow, a spinning rod with an incredible and unusual sound. Extremely light and powerful, this rod is ideal for soft bait fishing requiring precision, sensitivity, comfort and power.

Its extra-fast action and balance make it ideal for intensive use, and it's equally adept with hard bait and other spinnerbaits. This rod is extremely resonant, making it ideal for stalking bass, perch, pike-perch, black-bass and pike.

It's fitted with the new X5 blank, which has been pre-impregnated to make it light, resonant and powerful. Its rings are Fuji Torzite Titanium K, thin and light, they will optimise your casting distance and avoid the risk of tangling your line. Finally, the VSS reel provides extra comfort when casting as well as a superb grip.

The rod comes with a screen-printed cover and a rigid cordura protection tube.
