We didn't think that Daiwa could once again increase the range of its Steez AGS casting rods. And yet, this new 2022 model once again demonstrates the technical mastery of the Japanese brand and its ever-increasing advances. Anglers are truly at the centre of their research and thinking.

The AGS guides are still on the programme, making the rod lighter in terms of overall weight. With 4 blanks weighing less than 120g, you can really get the perfect foil for approaching bass, perch, pike-perch and other pikes. Sensitivity will also be enhanced with the carbon guides.

The top-of-the-range blank is of course standard on these models, with the SVF nanoplus. But to allow it to express all its expertise, you can count on a new version of the X45, now Full Shield, to provide even more resistance and limit torsion as much as possible. The new exclusive Air Sensor reel seat will allow you to feel the slightest vibration by placing your hand on the rod.

You can count on the 701 MFB model for swim-fish, popper and spinner fishing. The 6101 MHFB will be the all-rounder of the series with a natural ease with a wide range of lures. The 721 MHFB will also be versatile, but with a longer casting length. Finally, the 731 HMHFB will be the strongest lure in the series, perfect for jigs, punching and powerful fishing on large lakes.
