Developed by the famous fisherman Stefan Seuß, the Dead Bait Rig setup from the brand Black Cat is a line for catfish fishing with dead bait. This ready-to-use setup only needs to be connected to your mainline. To use it best, you can add a weight of your choice. This ready-to-use setup for catfish fishing presents your bait just above the bottom.

An X-Strong Winged U-Float is attached to the line, placed above the bait. It creates a tempting swirl in the current by turning on itself. The dead fish is attached with a single hook at the front, at the head, and a double hook at the back, at the tail.

Thanks to this setup, you will be able to position your live bait where the catfish swim and hunt. You will benefit from 2 hooks: one of size 4/0 and one of 8/0 to arm your live bait.
