The Madcat UV Series Cat-Stick Rod is a rod designed for bottom fishing and all demanding static techniques such as buoy fishing or subfloat fishing. Built around a fiberglass blank, it is one of those models capable of handling huge loads and violent fights without weakening. It's a rod intended to target monstrous catfish, where reliability is not an option.
Its anti-shock SeaGuide® rings, without fragile inserts, provide total resistance to intense friction, heavy setups and repeated sessions. The aluminum reel seat reinforces the set and guarantees a solid grip, even with powerful catfish reels.
