The Westin W3 Powershad 3rd generation combines raw sensations and technical versatility. Built around a high-performance Torayca® carbon blank, this rod is medium power and has instant responsiveness: you feel the slightest contact, the slightest vibration and the first attack right in your palm. Its medium-fast action offers a perfect compromise between hook-setting power and slight flexibility to animate shads, small fins, jerkbaits and even a few light swimbaits. The carbon SKS-LS reel seat reduces weight and improves vibration transmission, while EUKTLTSG rings ensure a hard point-free line glide, for longer casts and minimal friction on the braid.

In the field, this rod is extremely versatile: opt for lighter models for perch and finesse techniques, or medium versions to track zander and pike in crowded areas. Whether in the river or lake, along the shore or casting from a boat, the W3 Powershad allows twitched animations, linear retrieves and measured pauses without losing control. Pair it with a light braid and a fluorocarbon leader to maximize discretion and hook-setting power.
