Westin Spinning Rod W8 Super Finesse 2ND

The ultimate rod for ultra-light lure fishing and super finesse, the spinning canne W8 Super Finesse 2nd from Westin. Whether you want to animate small soft lures, handle or twitch micro hard lures, or fish with very light metal lures, this rod meets all these uses. It's aimed at anglers who want a modern fishing rod for ultra-light lures.

The ultra-lightweight Torayca® T1100 carbon blanks provide maximum sensitivity and response. With lures of a few grams, the slightest indication counts: a timid bite, contact with the bottom or a change in line tension. The blank is made from Toray® Torayca® T1100GC & M40JB.

The rod covers the essentials of ultra-light lure fishing:

• animation of small soft lures
• twitching of micro hard lures
• fishing with very light metal lures

The Fuji® T2C reel seat in carbon and the Fuji® SiC Tangle free rings are mounted on the rod. The Tangle free rings limit the tangling of the fine braid around the rings, a useful point when casting very light lures with a fine line. The lure holder is a 2.5 arc Seaguide® hook.

The blank features a Fe2O3 iron oxide color. The carbon cap screwed at 360° is custom made. Each rod bears a unique serial number. It is delivered in a neoprene case.

For optimal balance, the Super Finesse range combines with a spinning reel of size 1000 or 2000.
