On the water's edge, the Westin W8 Precision Cast Limitless ASM stands out as a spinning rod designed for fishermen who want to combine casting distance and a high level of sensations.
This intelligent compromise truly transforms the handling: it offers a remarkable control and immediate reactivity, with a blank designed to transmit the slightest information. The feeling in hand is clear, precise, alive, with direct feedback that helps to read the water and react instantly whenever a fish follows, bites or simply accompanies the lure.
The rod excels with surface lures and minnows, where precision in casting and retrieval becomes a real asset. Its sophisticated action also allows you to effectively work with soft lures in open water or near the bottom, with enough nerve to animate properly and enough finesse to keep an excellent feeling on discreet touches. This is typically the kind of rod one appreciates when looking to fish correctly, cleanly, without overplaying.
The blank combines high-end Toray carbon T800, M40JB and T1100GC, a trio that brings lightness, robustness and exceptional sensitivity. It also has a Fuji VSS reel seat, Fuji Sic Gunsmoke anti-tangle stainless steel rings, a premium compact and non-slip split EVA handle and a stainless steel lure hook. Every detail enhances the fluidity of use and reliability at the water's edge, even when conditions get difficult.
This Westin W8 Precision Cast Limitless ASM is aimed at expert fishermen who want a versatile rod capable of handling varied presentations, from surface work to actions closer to the bottom. It perfectly fits into delicate and precise fishing when it is necessary to cast correctly, maintain the contact and feel the slightest vibration without ever losing comfort.
