The Lew's Super Duty Wide is designed for fishermen looking for a casting reel capable of withstanding intensive sessions without ever sacrificing casting accuracy. Its monoblock design and aluminum side plate on the handle side form a rigid structure that limits deformations, even under heavy stress, ensuring a mechanical longevity that meets the expectations of the most demanding fishermen.

The side plate opposite to the handle, made of graphite, is combined with a rubberized "soft touch" paint layer applied on the side plates. This finish serves not only an aesthetic purpose: it effectively protects the reel from shocks and provides enhanced grip, a significant advantage during repeated handling in wet or saline conditions.

At the heart of the reel, the Speed Gears® full copper gear mechanisms are machined on Hamai CNC machines, ensuring a millimeter precision machining and a particularly robust power transmission. This level of manufacturing allows the reel to withstand the most intense fights against the most powerful predators without faltering.

The 35mm U spool, made of anodized aluminum, offers a large line capacity while remaining fully compatible with braid, a material now essential for numerous modern lure techniques requiring both casting distance and sensitivity.

This reel carries a premium system of 11 bearings, including double-walled stainless steel ball bearings, combined with the Zero Reverse® anti-reverse system that eliminates any unwanted play on strike.
