At the heart of this model, SHIMANO's exclusive digital control braking device i-DC4 automatically manages the spool speed throughout the cast. Result: effortless precision, sharper casts, and a significant reduction in wig risk. Thanks to the external dial, you can quickly adapt the setting to the type of line used or variations in lure weight, with appreciable versatility when conditions change quickly.

The rigid HAGANE aluminum frame offers the toughness and compactness sought to withstand solid fights, while maintaining a comfortable ergonomics in the palm. The transmission benefits from MicroModule Gearing and X-SHIP technologies, which promote smooth and efficient retrieval under tension, with a mechanical smoothness felt immediately at the crank.

The MGL III spool, combined with S3D and Silent Tune technologies, limits vibrations and improves casting stability for cleaner line releases.
