The Evergreen Orion The Cantata OCSC 67M is designed for anglers looking for a medium casting rod that offers genuine casting feel, pinpoint accuracy and crisp feedback on the hookset.
Developed around the Cantata concept, this rod features a blank made entirely from high-end Toyou Treika® T1100G carbon, treated with Nano Alloy®. You’ll feel the difference straight away on the water: a supple yet well-controlled bend, followed by an incredibly fast recovery that lets you cast lures with a low, direct and precise motion. Its consistency with weights between 3/8 and 1/2 oz delivers excellent casting stability, making it ideal for accurate presentations, even when you need to make repeated, precise casts both forehand and backhand.
The butt section further enhances this sense of control thanks to the Quattro braiding, a four-axis cross-weave with a denser, thicker pattern that limits twisting and stabilises the blank under load. With single-hook lures, the benefits are tangible: better lure action, improved bite transmission and excellent hook-setting and landing performance. The SiC guides with titanium frames, arranged with four single-foot guides at the tip and belly, followed by four double-foot guides towards the butt, contribute to this precision while maintaining a clean, efficient layout.
The Fuji ECS blank-touch reel seat completes the setup with a slim, direct grip and no foregrip, giving you a clear connection to the blank. The split centre and rear grips in high-density EVA further enhance control and durability. This rod is designed to handle medium-class lures, particularly spinnerbaits, bladed jigs, light Texas rigs and compact jigs, as well as many other lures listed by the manufacturer. It is especially well suited to reaction-bait fishing and precise lure presentations.
