Description

The Calcutta Conquest A gets a facelift for the 2018/2019 season, while remaining the brand's top-of-the-range round profile casting reel Shimano. At first glance, it looks very similar to the old model. But in reality, many aspects of the product's mechanics and technology have changed, making it a real machine for easily catching very big fish with big lures.

You'll be able to rely on a completely redesigned brake and smooth outer flanges, with no buttons present. The Level Wind is now synchronised with the line on the spool, the ratio is faster and the brake makes a sound when the line comes off the spool (like spinning reels). But, of course, that's not all! This Conquest is also equipped with a Hagane frame, Micro Module gears, X-Ship system, S3D spool, 12 bearings... In short, the most advanced technology and solid materials you can find. All lures will be easy to use thanks to a balanced and versatile ratio: soft lures, Swimbaits, Jerkbaits, Spinnerbaits.
